Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
This policy explains what information Shick Family Law collects through this website, how that information is handled, and the choices available to you. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What the contact form collects
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, a reason for contact, and an optional note about how you found the firm. You control what you enter. Please do not include confidential case details in the form. No attorney-client relationship exists until a conflict check is completed and an engagement is confirmed in writing.
How form data is stored and transmitted
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection to a form processing service selected before launch. Submissions are delivered to the firm for review and conflict checking. Data is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement tool. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not build a profile of your browsing across other sites. It reports aggregate page-view data only.
No third-party trackers
The site does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media tracking widgets, or other third-party trackers. There is no cross-site tracking and no advertising network integration.
Retention
Contact submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to meet the firm's professional and legal record-keeping obligations. A specific retention schedule will be published before launch.
Your choices
- You can contact the firm to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted.
- You can choose not to submit the form and reach the firm through other means once contact details are published.
